I have worked at Nant du Lodge for over 16 years so I guess you could say it’s a big part of my life and I have officially become part of the fixtures and fittings. Lester Hotels Head Office in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire are seeking a Full Time Purchase Ledger Controller (37.5 hours per week)
The successful candidate will be required to assume the day to day responsibility for the purchase ledger, undertaking the following duties:-
- Validating and processing multi-company invoices
- Processing cheque and BACS payment runs
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Liaising with suppliers and hotels and dealing with queries
- Carrying out supplier analysis and cost comparisons
- Producing timely creditor reports
- Ensuring all invoices and reports are filed
Who are we looking for
Ideally candidates will have:
- Competent IT skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SUN and/or Sage accounts
- Strong numerical skills
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently using own initiative
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise
- An inquisitive nature and desire to resolve/finalise queries
- A real team player with a motivating and friendly manner
